Broomball Seasonal League Play

Frozen Fun

2023-24 FIGURE SKATING Punch Card Sessions
August 7 – April 19 | 6:45am–11:30am (hours vary)
Get an edge! Daily practice sessions offered that allow figure skaters of all ages and abilities to perfect their skating skills. Private and semi-private lessons are available with our coaches during these practice sessions. Guest coaches and their students are welcome.

Princess Tea (TBA)

Come dressed as your favorite Disney princess, have tea and cookies, create your own crown, and skate with our very own Hamilton Center Princess! Please call Hamilton Center at 812-376-2686 to register.

Paint & Skate (TBA)

Norty’s Hockey School (June 3 – June 7)

Hosted by Coaches John Mahalik (Trine University), Zac Sens (Bowling Green State University), and Stu Smith (Miami University ) this program will emphasize the skills of skating and puck control. This camp is in honor of Mike Norton who passed away in December of 2023. Mike loved the Columbus Hockey Camp and had coached the Columbus Hockey Camp for over 20 Years. He will be greatly missed.
Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday will be held from 11:45 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. For more information call Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena at 812-376-2686.

Summer House League (Tuesday or Thursday) (June 4 – July 30)

House League will be held 5:45 – 6:45 p.m. House League Nights will consist of 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of cross ice games. No games on Saturday!

Edgework (Low or High Intensity) (June 5 – July 31)

This class will focus on the fundamentals of ice skating edgework specifically for the sport of hockey. Inside and outside edges will be the focus combined with balance and agility. This class is not power skating but an instructional based teaching of proper mechanics in edgework. No classes week oh July 4th.

High (Ages 12-16)

Robby Glantz Training Camp (July 25-27)

The Robby Glantz hockey camp focuses on technique speed training, acceleration, and explosive starts! Training will include bungie cords and more. Come train with a skating coach of the NHL stars! This camp is limited to travel hockey players only and players will be split by age/level for skill and station training.
