Come Out and Play Sponsorship *
This program provides a free supervised summer recreation program/summer camp experience for the children of Columbus. During the summer, Monday – Friday children are invited for a summer of fieldtrips, recreational games, sports, crafts, etc. at Donner Park! Camp is ran and monitored by our staff of summer camp counselors out of Donner Shelter! Children are transported from local parks around the community or may be dropped off directly at Donner. Every day, a free lunch is provided by BCSC. We have several giveaways throughout the summer to reward kids for great behavior and to celebrate summer. This is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to partner with the Columbus Parks Department to promote outdoor education, youth play and help provide a quality summer camp experience free of charge to our community. Please contact Jacob Hendricks, jhendricks@columbus.in.gov for more info on how to become a sponsor for the Come Out & Play Playground Program!

Power of Produce at Columbus Farmer’s Market *
The Columbus Farmer’s Market provides the Power of Produce program to children in our community to experience fruits and vegetables at the Farmer’s Market. Each child gets a $2 voucher to spend at the Market every weekend throughout the season.
This year we want to partner with health-related organizations like yours to be part of the Power of Produce (POP) program. As a partner of the Power of Produce Program your organization will:
- Be at the POP program booth to hand out vouchers and information to community members
- Have your logo on the POP program vouchers (over 100 participants each weekend)
- Have your logo and information on the Columbus Farmer’s Market social media (10K followers) when
To be part of this program, we are asking for $250 per weekend you want to be at the Market. The money will go straight to providing POP vouchers to the children in our community.

Tour de Trails Event Sponsorship *
Every year the Columbus Park Foundation hosts our Tour de Trails events to raise money to help maintain our over 22 miles of People Trail Network for our Community to be safe and active. The Columbus Park Foundation has been hosting the Run/Walk for 22 years and Bicycle Challenge for 18 years, and last year we had over 200 participants for both the Run/Walk and Bicycle Challenge. Please consider sponsoring our Tour de Trails events. A gift at any of our levels will make our event even more successful! Our Tour de Trails events brings participants from throughout the community, state, and country. As a sponsor for the Tour de Trails, we would share your information to all the participants along with everyone who visits our social media and website. If you would like to support our event or discuss our plans, please contact Celeste Reynolds at creynolds@columbus.in.gov or (812) 375-2759.
Youth Baseball Team Sponsorship
This program provides an opportunity for children, regardless of their ability, to learn the rules of baseball, understand the concepts of effort, teamwork and leadership in a positive atmosphere. Our program also promotes simply having fun! It is organized and operated by the governing baseball board of community volunteers who work with our department staff. However, this program is not possible without the support we receive from our community. For only $400 you will be providing an experience for young children that will last a lifetime. Additionally, your sponsorship gives your business the opportunity to have your company’s name and logo appear on your team’s uniform as well as your company’s name/logo on a banner at our baseball facility for the season. You will also be recognized in our media outlets. Columbus Parks and Recreation supervises ordering and purchasing of uniforms for all the children in the league. For more information on how to sponsor a team for an upcoming season, please contact Seth Rice, srice@columbus.in.gov.
* All sponsorships for these programs/events are tax-deductible.
