Join Columbus Parks and Recreation and Old St. Nick himself at The Commons on December 2 from 12 – 2:30pm. December 2nd Downtown Columbus will be the local hotspot for Holiday festivities! Before the Annual Festival of Lights Parade, Santa will be available to meet with all the good children of Columbus to hear their Christmas wishes and for a photo. This event is free and we ask that you bring your own means of capturing a photo. Registration: Drop-In

Holiday Creations Craft Show & Sale

Looking for perfectly unique presents for the special people in your life? Come out to Donner Center December 9 for our 24th Annual Holiday Creations Craft Show and Sale! Explore the holiday handiwork of local artists and small businesses from 9am until 2pm. Admission to the sale is FREE to the public.

Whoville  Skate

Holiday Basket Class

November 30 | 5-9pm | Ages 18+ | Donner Center | $39

For all basket classes, students should bring a flat blade screwdriver, scissors, a large towel and a spray bottle for water. Classes are taught by Pat Carothers.

The Sound and Spirit of Columbus and Columbus Parks & Recreation Present: Breakfast with Santa

All Ages | December 16 | 9-11am | Donner Center | $15

All ages. Join the sound and Spirit of Columbus Band Boosters and Columbus Parks and Recreation for a morning of holiday fun, hot breakfast and of course a visit with Santa. Proceeds of this event go to supporting the Sound and Spirit of Columbus. Children under the age of 3 are free, but be sure to register so there is an accurate head count.

Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Winter Barista Class

Ages 15+ | January 28 | 9:30–11am | The Commons | $25

If you are interested in learning the art of making café quality coffee beverages in the comfort of your own home, looking to take your coffee expertise to the next level, or learning how to identify different tasting notes of your morning brew, join us for a hands on lesson. We will go over several simple ways to make a delicious cup of coffee and try an assortment of different, freshly roasted beans.
