TAIKO DRUMMING
Discover the art of Japanese Taiko drumming, which has been played in Japan for over 2000 years. The word taiko means big drum, and the art form incorporates large drums, body movement, vocalization, and various instruments. All drums are provided. No drumming experience necessary. All you need is the desire to play, have fun, and a willingness to share the joy of taiko with others. During these fun and energetic classes participants will learn about rhythm and drumming thru the use of games, songs, dance and drumming. Students are encouraged to buy their own drumsticks for $15.

COLUMBUS YOUTH FISHING SERIES

Enjoy a relaxing evening of fishing with your family during these Sundays in June. All skill levels of young fisherwomen and fishermen are invited. Prizes will
be awarded each night to winners of various categories. Interactive casting games will be set up to help teach kids how to cast, and we will also have guests present to provide expert knowledge on fishing in Indiana. Pay and sign-in begins at 5:15pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Park of the Living Dead

Do you have what it takes to survive an evening in the Park of the Living Dead? On October 30, Mill Race Park will be overrun with zombies. As survivors, it is your job to secure shelter, find food, train with a weapon, gain access to medical supplies and ultimately create the cure. Starting at 7pm, every 10 minutes, a group of humans will embark on their evening run to different stations to accomplish these essentials of survival and to find the cure. You will receive a map, and you may
visit the stations in any order you choose, but the last station you visit must be “the cure”. Sign up for your time slot and prepare yourself for Park of the Living Dead! Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

We will follow Alice, her dog and her cat down the rabbit hole and explore the magical land of idioms. We will meet all of Wonderland’s usual suspects; the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Mad Hatter and March Hare, the Cheshire Cat, and the King and Queen of Hearts. We will learn the ins and outs of the English language along with Alice, her friends and her pets.

Columbus North High School | $260
An intro to theater experience for kids who are looking to perform. Campers will audition on Monday morning and on Friday will perform “Annie.” Campers will experience some technical aspects of the show and work on improvisation. Camp is run by Columbus North High School Theater & Choral Department staff and students. Please specify shirt size when registering. Each participant is limited to 4 guests on the day of the performance.
