We’re bringing it back! After talking to and coordinating with the Columbus North and Columbus East football programs, Columbus Parks and Recreation will be restarting the Summer Football Camp. Previous camps were held in the early 2000s and were considered to be a huge success. In this camp, coaches and volunteers will spend 4 days teaching participants the basics of football. Coaches will teach proper technique, scoring, and run position based drills to help encourage the growth of football in the community. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. This camp will be lead by Edward Vogel head coach at Columbus East High School and Jason Perry interim head coach at Columbus North High School.
