Gotta Catch’em All

Ages 3–4 | June 10 – 14 | 9–11:30am | The REC at NexusPark | $70

Are you ready to become the very best, like no one ever was? Join us this summer for a week long camp, training future Pokemon trainers! Each day, campers will discover new types of Pokemon, catch and train their Pokemon friends and embark on their journey to become the best Pokemon trainers in Columbus! Campers will play themed games, complete crafts and leave every day of camp with a different Pokemon collectable box!

Clowning Around

Ages 3–4 | July 8 – 12 | 9–11:30am | The REC at NexusPark | $70

You’ve heard of clown college, well this is clown preschool. Campers will spend the week studying the art of making people laugh! Camp will be goofy. It will be wacky. And by the end, who knows, you might even be sporting a red nose! Campers will work on crafts, play games and maybe even throw some pies! Get your juggling equipment ready, polish up your oversized shoes, and make sure your 40ft handkerchief is clean because it is time to CLOWN AROUND! On Friday of camp, we will have a hands-on clowning class for our campers!

Tots, Trails, & Tales

Ages 2–5 | June 17 and 18 | 9–10:30am | The REC at NexusPark | $35

Exploring the outdoors with your child is one of the best ways to help them form a lifelong bond with nature. Join us for story time, a tot-sized walk and a craft; all of which will open your eyes to the wonderful world of nature, and help sharpen your skills as your child’s guide and teacher. This camp will focus on pollinators; bees, butterflies, and all the other creatures that help plants grow. Tuesday we will meet at the Pollinator Park at Blackwell Park for some hands on time with nature as well!

Holidays in July

Ages 3–4 | July 15 – 19 | 9–11:30am | The REC at NexusPark | $70

Enjoy a year’s worth of holidays all in ONE WEEK! Maybe you’ve heard of Christmas in July, but what about Thanksgiving in July…or Halloween? Every day of camp, campers will be transported to a different time of year and celebrate all the festivities of the seasons. Campers will experience holiday themed crafts, games, snacks and activities. Who doesn’t want to have a snowball fight when it’s in the 90’s outside? Gingerbread houses one day, Fourth of July fireworks the next!

Feel the Music

Ages 3–4 | July 22 – 26 | 9–11:30am | The REC at NexusPark | $70

Love to sing? Always busting a move? This is the camp for you! During this week, campers will experience a “musical boot camp” where every day they’ll exercise essential music skills. Campers will sing, dance, and try out some instruments. They’ll practice rhymes, fingerplays, and moving to the beat of the music. They’ll even have the chance to make their own dance prop and instrument! During camp we will be joined by musical guests to showcase their unique instruments and talents. If you’re ready to feel the music, this is the camp for you! No prior music experience is required, just a great attitude and a passion for music.

American Girl Doll Fun

Prepare yourself for a summer’s worth of adventure and bring your favorite American Girl Doll to life through reading, games, crafts and other fun activities. Bring home the gold with 2024’s American Girl Doll of the Year, Lila Monetti. Lila is head over heels for gymnastics and horses! You and your doll will learn about
horses then hit the bars and beams at the Columbus Gymnastics Center!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Students will get to meet the sorting hat, join a house, attend loads of Hogwarts classes, and even play a game of quidditch. Star Wars: Padawan Academy

Ages 5–7 | June 24 – 28 | 1:30–4:30pm | The REC at NexusPark | $85

The Force is strong with this one! Join us for a week of Jedi training. Your Padawan will spend this week, honing the body and the mind to master The Force, the Jedi Code, and of course, the way of the lightsaber. As a Padawan, they are on their way to becoming a strong and honorable Jedi Knight. We will explore many of the different planets from a galaxy far far away. We will get to try some foods from the Star Wars Universe! Every Padawan will finish the week by building their very own lightsaber, taking the Jedi Oath of Honor, and joining the ranks of the Jedi Order!

Rodeo Fun

Ages 5–7 | July 8 – 12 | 1:30–4:30pm | The REC at NexusPark | $85

This ain’t your first rodeo…well actually, it probably is!
Join us for a week of RODEO FUN! Campers will get to experience what it is like to visit and be a part of a rodeo. From rodeo clowns to lasso toss, campers will get a great first rodeo experience. Round up a great time will all of the rodeo themed games, crafts, snacks and activities that your campers will experience. They will work on rodeo clown routines, ride some bulls (don’t worry no live cattle will make an appearance at camp!), and practice lasso toss. Campers will also visit the circus fun day The Greatest Show on Turf on Wednesday! On Friday of camp, we will have a hands-on clowning class for our campers!

All Participants must have a bike and wear a helmet.

I Got the Music in Me!

Do you love music? When a great song comes on, can you just not resist breaking out in song, or maybe busting a move? If that sounds like your camper, this is the camp for you! This week, campers will experience a “musical boot camp” where every day they’ll exercise essential music skills. Campers will sing lots of songs, learn dances from around the world, and learn all about instruments. They’ll even have the chance to make their own dance props and instrument! During camp we will be joined by musical guests to showcase their unique instruments and talents. If you’ve got the music in you, this is the camp you’ve got to do! Prior music experience is not required just a great attitude and a passion for music.

Columbus Ranger Camp

Ages 8–12 | June 17, 18, 20 and 21 | 9am – 12pm | Donner Park Shelterhouse | $65

Columbus Parks and Recreation is in need of a new generation of Park Rangers. If you have a passion for nature, interest in our parks, and a desire to learn more about the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit our parks, consider signing up for Columbus Ranger Camp and becoming a park ranger in training. Throughout the week our campers will explore our different parks; from the Pollinator Park at Blackwell Park, to the riverfront area at Mill Race Park, our campers will grow in their knowledge of nature, preservation and the history of our local parks. Camp will conclude with a trip to Anderson Falls at the end of the week.

Camp Utopia

Ages 8–13 | June 17 – 21 | 8:30am–1:30pm
Bus Pick-Up at NexusPark | $125

A summer camp for those with a strong interest in wildlife and nature with an emphasis on conservation, science, wildlife and animal behavior. Hands on activities, nature scavenger hunt, games and explorations Illustrate all concepts using Utopia’s live educational ambassadors: Duncan the Bald Eagle, Obie the Barred Owl and Cloud the Coyote. Celebrate the week with a cookout and grand finale program for parents and caregivers on Friday.
Transportation will be provided to and from NexusPark (except for Friday, campers will be transported to Utopia and will be picked up by their adults after the final program and cookout). Daily snacks provided, bring your own lunch. This camp is supported by a grant from Amos Butler Audubon Society of Central Indiana.

Columbus in Motion

Calling all sportoholics. This action packed week of camp will be held at the NEW NexusPark. We will spend our days exploring all the sports that the Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark has to offer. Join us as we do a variety of recreational sport activities. Some highlights of the week will be archery tag, zorb soccer, basketball and more! We will spend some time offsite on fieldtrips throughout the week exploring the different sporting opportunities around town. We will try out the Disc Golf course at Donner Park, swim at the pool and visit some of our community sports partners. Every day will start and stop with NexusPark!

Camp MVP

During this fun filled week of sports and games, every camper is our most valuable player. Campers will start their day at the NEW Circle K Fieldhouse at NexusPark, and spend the week exploring all the fun exciting new programs that facility has to offer. We will do a variety of offsite programs as well. Throughout the week, we will visit other sports facilities and take part in a myriad of programs all over town! Grab your running shows and get ready to move!

Magic Camp

Join award winning magician Travis Easterling and experience amazing fun at this summer magic camp! Campers will learn basic magic, how to twist balloons, build magical props, check out cool puppets and meet Harry the magic bunny.
